installation
Get the sources directly from the creators http://www.nog.net/~tony/warez/cowsay.shtml and follow their instructions.

or

On a system with gentoo linux:


$ emerge cowsay

on fedora, type instead

$ yum install cowsay

For debian and ubuntu users this will probably do the job:

$ apt-get -install cowsay

And similarly on other distros.
